Project Proclamation

Passing this one for Project Proclamation with Big Mountain Productions and RTE. Please share if you know anyone who might be interested:

Big Mountain Productions, with Two Tube and RTÉ 2fm are inviting 11-17 year olds to create a one-minute film or audio piece, which documents or interprets their personal response to Proclamation Day.

A selection of the projects we receive will be woven together into a half-hour documentary. In addition, 10 one minute films will be selected for broadcast on Two Tube on RTÉ 2 and 10 audio pieces will be selected for broadcast on 2FM.

We want schoolgoers – that’s you – to tell us what you think about the Proclamation and the themes that mean the most to you. You have one minute to speak your mind.

The emphasis is on looking to the future, on your hopes and dreams, rather than looking back. And you can tell us any way you want – the more original and artistic the better!

Whether it’s creating a brilliant art piece, drafting a new proclamation, creating a drama, a song, a poem, a dance, a piece of music, a painting, a speech, anything at all – just deliver it to us as a one minute film or audio clip.

This is a ‘once in a century’ invitation for you to get involved, take part and help us to make this a special moment in Ireland’s history. You can film yourself on a tablet, a smartphone or any other recording device you like. Do it solo or collaborate with friends.

Check out ‘Project Proclamation’ at for all the details.
